An interesting collaboration with my past self, this piece is watercolour with pen and explores the lines on the page.
Originally painted in 2014 and put aside, I recently uncovered this Girl with Flowers and worked back into the illustration with black ink, finding as many lines as possible by following the changes in pigment and saturation. The new piece is busy and striking; it creates a discourse on time and what it means to be finished.
The painting is on watercolour paper and measures at 16.5cmx22cm with one beautiful natural edge along top kept in tact.
